Scott Klabunde, 57, of Elizabeth WV (formerly of Anchorage Alaska) went home to be with his Lord and Savior January 25, 2015 after an extended illness.
He was born in Wisconsin the son of the Late Paul and Phyllis Klabunde.
He served in the United State Navy, and worked for several years as an over-the-road truck driver before working for Settle Logging of Newark WV delivering to Glatfelter Log Yard where he had made several good friends. He was a member of Living Word Ministries of Elizabeth WV.
Scotty loved to tell stories, so let the memory of him be a happy one. Remember a story that he told you over the years that put a smile on your face. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
He is survived by his 2 children, Brandi Hughes and Husband Keith Tanner of Elizabeth and Jeremy Egron of Alaska; grandchildren, Wyatt Hughes of Elizabeth and Jeremy Egron Jr. of Alaska; brothers, Glen Klabunde of New Mexico, children Angela, Heather, Kacey and Samantha;
Guy Klabunde (Dianna) of Alaska, children Crystal and Christopher;
Jim Klabunde (Sue) of Mason Co. WV children Patrick and Christine;
sister, Joy Bays of Alaska and children Nichole, Jason, Nathan and Nicholas; 2 very special friends David (Terri) Hennen of Newark WV and Gordy Linville of Elizabeth; and his faithful companion "Maggie Mae."
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
Family will be having a Celebration of Life, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Living Word Ministries of Elizabeth WV. Friends and family may come one hour prior to service.
