WEST VIRGINIA SMALL BUSINESSES INVITED TO TAKE PART IN SURVEY

(01/21/2015)
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Small businesses throughout the state are invited to take part in a survey from the West Virginia Small Business Development Center. The survey on the WVSBDC website   WVSBDC.org/WestVirginia   can be completed in about 15 minutes.

"We are reaching out to all small business in the state," said WVSBDC Director Kristina Oliver. "WVSBDC continuously surveys the businesses we work with. For this survey, we extend the invitation beyond our clients to include as many West Virginia small businesses as possible. The more that participate, the better we can understand the issues and the needs facing West Virginia's small businesses today."

The survey asks about subjects such as: Demographics, Business support, Workforce, Regulatory, Operations, Market conditions, Taxes and fees.

Survey respondents will not be identified unless a participant chooses to provide information in the comments section at the end of the survey. To ensure responses are anonymous, the West Virginia Department of Commerce Communications will collect the survey results and provide a summary to WVSBDC.

The survey will remain live online until midnight, Jan. 31. Businesses with questions about the survey may contact the WVSBDC Business Ask Me! Line at 888-982-7232 or   ASKME@wv.gov
