| Frank Delaney, 88, of Spencer, West Virginia formerly of Reedy, West Virginia died January 19, 2015 at the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
Frank was born January 28, 1926 in Roane County a son of the late Everett "Bud" and Nettie Miller Delaney.
Frank was a hard working man and worked for Hank Pence in the oil fields for years. He served with the US Marines during World War Two in Guam and enjoyed farming and deer hunting.
He is survived by four daughters, Rebecca Talbott and Barbara Reynolds, both of Reedy, Cynthia Carpenter of Triangle, Virginia, and Robin Towes of Canada; two sons, Richard Delaney of Reedy and Mike Delaney of Hudson, Ohio; one sister, Jane Myers of Mineral Wells, West Virginia; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen L. Miller Delaney; and several brothers and sisters.
There will be a visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer with burial to follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Reedy.
