Applications for the low income energy assistance program will start on Jan. 26, according to West Virginia Health and Human Resources secretary Karen L. Bowling.
The filing period will end Feb. 6.
Eligibility for heating assistance benefits is based on income and household size, among other factors.
Income must be at or below 130 percent of the federal poverty guideline for the household size.
Applications can be obtained at local Health and Human Resources offices, community centers and senior centers. |
