Minnie Hamilton Health System Emergency Medical Service, providing ambulance to Calhoun for its first full year, released an annual report to the Calhoun Commission Monday.
The service provided 1,319 calls during 2014, with an average monthly number of calls at 109, average daily calls at 3.6, according to Emergency Medical Services Director Mark Kerns
The annual report shows that the calls are equally divided between the Grantsville and Arnoldsburg stations.
Since MHHS took-over the ambulance service in 2013, they have provided accountability to the Calhoun Commission and county taxpayers for the operation of the system, with county levy money partially paying for the service.
