Sharon Yeager of Big Springs has been nominated by her family and friends for a 'Shining Star Award'.
They say, "We have had a lot of illness in our family the past year and Sharon is the one that is always there to help us in anyway she can.
She is the glue that holds our family together. Sharon is not only there for us but for others in our community as well. She gets groceries for a neighbor every week, is very active in her church, gives to people in need, visits and sings at MHHC nursing home, makes donations to our local food pantry and the Christmas Connection and visits or calls to check on family and friends.
These are all things she loves to do without any thanks, but we thank God that we and the community have her."
