| Genavie L. Richards Free, 87, of Big Bend, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior January 4, 2015 at Minnie Hamilton Health Center, Grantsville, WV.
She was born November 22, 1927 to the late Leamon and Clara Lewis Richards.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sylvester O. Richards, Jr.; two grandsons Russ Hardman and Matthew Haines; two sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by six children, Ivan (Ginger) Richards of Belpre, Ohio; Von (Brenda) Richards of Vincent, Ohio; Sophia (Jack) Haines of Canal Fulton, Ohio; Arlene (Rick) Sampson of Grantsville, WV; Darlene (Bill) Cunningham of Big Bend, WV; and Roger Richards of Big Bend, WV; three sisters, Edna Radcliff of Big Bend, WV; Grace Wagoner of Big Bend, WV; and Lyly Jean Bush of Parkersburg, WV. Also surviving are many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Homes, Grantsville on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Carroll McCauley will officiate. Interment will be in Hunt Cemetery, Big Bend. Visitation will be held from noon-2:00 p.m. Wednesday. |
