Ashley Houchin, received the "Excellence In Service to Students" award from the WVU chapter of Sigma Alpha Pi, National Society of Leadership and Success, during the December 2014 induction ceremony.
Houchin has been a member of Sigma Alpha Pi for two years and currently serves as the Community Service Chair of the WVU chapter of the national honorary.
She received the award in recognition of her exemplified service to the chapter.
Ashley is a senior majoring in speech pathology with a minor in child development and family studies.
She is the daughter of Jeff and Kelley Houchin of Arnoldsburg.
