MORGANTOWN MURDER -Morgantown Police have arrested two men for murder following a report of suspicious activity.
Morgantown Police were patrolling the area at approximately 2:40 a.m. Tuesday, when a person came into the Morgantown Police Department and reported that he had seen a body.
Officers contacted a property manager and found a man, covered in blood, on the floor. EMS was called to the scene but the man was dead, police said.
Detectives were dispatched to the scene to initiate an investigation.
The victim lived at a Forest Avenue residence with two suspects in the case, identified as Brian David Greeson, 47, and Charles Ray Shaffer, 55.
Greeson and Shaffer stabbed the man and hit him in the head with a wooden stick, said police.
Both Greeson and Shaffer are charged with conspiracy to commit murder and murder. |
