Claude C. Frymier, age79 of Smithville, West Virginia, (formerly of Tanner), departed this life on November 25, 2014 at the Arbors of Marietta, Ohio, following a brief illness.
Born September 20, 1935 in Tanner WV, the son of the late Lynn M. and Sarah E. Wagoner Frymier.
Claude was retired from DuPont Washington Works in 1998 after 43 years. He loved taking motorcycle trips with his family and friends, attending NASCAR races, camping with family, and spending time with family and friends.
On December 14, 1996 he was united in marriage to Laura Wolfe Frymier, who survives at the Smithville home.
Surviving are 8 children, Peggy Gumm of Parkersburg WV, Jim Frymier and companion Becky of Parkersburg, Bill Frymier and wife Marie of Big Springs WV, Missy Easton and husband Pete of Macfarlan WV, Justin Ingram and companion Lori of Parkersburg, Jessi Wolfe and companion Aaron of Lost Creek WV, Jacob Frymier and companion Ashley of Smithville, Jamie Frymier of Smithville, and loving companion dog, Snuffy; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive.
In addition to his parents, Claude was preceded in death by 2 brothers, June and Jimmy Frymier; 1 sister, Leona Hardman; 2 children, Rita Ingram and Arthur "Bug" Ingram; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 29, 2014 with Pastor Ron Chesser officiating. Following services it is Claude's request to be cremated and burial will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday evening at the Mortuary.
