| Warren Paul Hudson, 92 of Elizabeth WV passed away Nov 3, 2014, just 8 days shy of his 93rd birthday.
He was the eldest son of the late Frederick Oscar Hudson and Mary Christmas Tolley Hudson of Roane County.
Warren served in the US Army as a Medic form 1940 to 947 and retired form Borg Warner "GE Plastics" in 1978. He enjoyed hunting of all kinds, but especially favored fox hunting with his Walker hounds.
Warren is survived by three children, Iris (Larry) Smith of Morgantown WV, Midge (Rick) Thorn of Sutton WV, and Pete Hudson of Morgantown; four grandsons, Evan and Colin Thorn, Jack and Luke Hudson; one brother, Bruce Hudson of Aurora, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, June Eloise Henthorne Hudson; and an infant daughter, Sandra; four sisters, Gladys Conley, Shirley Stutler, Helen Amato and Jean Truman; and one brother Homer Hudson.
Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV. Private family graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday Nov. 7, 2014 at K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth WV. Memorial donations can be made to your local Humane Society ASPCA or rescue group.
