COURT ORDERS JAIL SENTENCE FOR BELL, RETURN TO PROBATION - Several Cases Set For Trial

Charles Bucky Bell appeared for a probation revocation before Calhoun Circuit Court.

Bell admitted to violating his probation by possessing and using alcohol and by receiving new traffic charges.

The court ordered that he serve twenty days in jail and returned him to probation following his jail time, according to Prosecutor Shannon Johnson.

Adam Park appeared for sentencing on his guilty plea to attempt to commit possession of precursors to manufacture methamphetamine, a felony.

The judge suspended the imposition of his sentence and he was placed on three years supervised probation. Mr. Park will have to pay $2.50 per month in supervised probation fees and $2.50 per month in community corrections fees.

He also was ordered to pay his fines and court costs within one year. The court also ordered Mr. Park to participate in the Wood County Day Report Center programs. according to prosecutor Johnson.

Justin Hannah appeared for a bond reduction hearing. His bond was reduced to $5000 surety as approved by the Circuit Clerk.

After short hearings, the court noted that Joshua Slider, Georgie Gaglione, Leon Kerby, and John Frederick Fisher's trials will be heard on November 18th.

Joshawa Whipkey, Corey Metheney, and Jeremy Saunders's trials were continued to March 3, 2015.

The cases were heard before Judge David W. Nibert.

The court also heard sixteen juvenile cases.

The next court date is November 17 with Judge Thomas Evans presiding.
