A 101-year-old Arnoldsburg woman has died at 101.
Pearl Wallbrown King died October 29 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Ripley.
She was a former postmistress at Leatherbark, a clerk at H & P Store in Spencer, and she wrote the Arnoldsburg News for the Calhoun Chronicle for several years.
"I grew up with strict and loving parents. I learned that no meant no, and was taught principals and values," King said.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Carl Marks officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
