| Winter weather has been pretty slow coming, but this weekend could change that.
A low-pressure system coming from the north into West Virginia could bring the state's first snowflakes this weekend, with some saying that up to five inches will fall in the state's higher mountains.
There will be some snow and snow flurries in the lower elevations, but the Ohio Valley may just get some rain or snow mixed with rain.
