Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center business students attended the FBLA-PBL Fall Leadership Conference in Flatwoods, WV on October 6-7.
FBLA [Future Business Leaders of America] is a national organization with more than 200,000 members nationwide. During the conference, students attended workshops on various business related issues like solving business problems with mobile apps, stock market game, Communications, your key to success, March of dimes, etc.
Students also took competitive practice tests to help prepare them for competitions in the spring.
Students were treated to a nice formal dinner, a dance and "Minute to Win It" games for entertainment.
Overall, the students had a really good time and are looking forward to attending the state competition conference in April. Students and advisor would like to thank all those businesses that have supported FBLA in any way.
