A recent poll says almost 50% of Americans are afraid they will contract Ebola.
The flu virus which kills tens of thousands of Americans every year is being overlooked this year because of fears over Ebola.
"It's on the news," says Dr. Rahul Gupta, director of the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department. "It's something that people are fearful and scared of."
Dr. Gupta says what's even more frightening is the fact the public isn't as worried about the flu, which you're far more likely to contract.
