GED/TASC - Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center will be administering the GED/TASC (General Educational Development/Test Assessing Secondary Completion) on October 21 and 22. Any person wishing to take the test must take a practice test. You will need to call the CGCC by Oct. 17, 2014 if you plan on taking the GED/TASC. A photo ID will need to be presented on the day of testing. Please be at the school by 8:30 a.m. If you have any questions please call 304-354-6151.
CGCC OPEN HOUSE - Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center will host an Open House, Parent Teacher Conference and Local School Improvement Council (LSIC) meeting on October 23 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Please attend this event if you have a student enrolled at CGCC to discuss their progress.
The LSIC will also meet during the evening at 5 p.m. Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center has gone through several renovations this summer. New tile, painting, and some new furniture have been added. Please stop in and see the center and all the programs it offers.
Examples of student projects and credentials will be on display. The Culinary Program students will have snacks available for purchase. No appointment is required.
