| MARION ARMED ROBBERY - Marion Co. authorities responded Friday morning to an armed robbery at a Circle K convenience store.
According to Marion County dispatchers, it happened around 3 a.m. at in Fairmont.
Fairmont police said the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
This is the third armed robbery in Fairmont in the last week. Investigators are using surveillance video to identify whoever robbed the KFC on Speedway Avenue and the McDonald's on Fairmont Avenue within hours of each other.
PARKERSBURG HOLD-UP - A robbery at the Rite Aid on 7th street has been confirmed by Parkersburg Police Chief Joe Martin.
A white man entered the store and began talking to pharmacy staff, handing over a note and asked for a specific narcotic medicine.
The suspect said he was armed, so the employee complied, giving the man the medicine.
He then fled.
