County Democrat Chairperson Margie Evans says she is reminding voters this year
the party should be remembered as "The Party of the People." Evans and members of
the Democratic Executive Committee have opened headquarters on Main Street in
Grantsville.
In view of multi-billion dollar stealing by corporate America "We must stand firm for
workers, investors and families," said Evans. "The Democrat Party has always tried to
look out for the ordinary working American," she said. "We must also stand firm on
civil liberties and our great constitution."
"Sometimes people seem to forget why they are Democrats," she said, "or why they
should now register as Democrats."
Registration deadline in this Wednesday, October 16.
