Larry G. Arnold, 57, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., went to his heavenly home on Sept. 20, 2014.
He was born Jan. 28, 1957, in Newark, Ohio, to the late Opal Greathouse Weaver.
He was a member of the Painters Local Union 1144 and was employed by several contractors throughout his 30 years of construction. He was a member of Rush Run Baptist Church and attended South Parkersburg Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carolyn Murphy Arnold; and his son, "Chaser" Chase Morgan Arnold, who was the joy of his life; a sister, Joy Shock of Walterboro, S.C.; a brother, Ronald (Judy) Arnold of Canton, Ohio; a stepsister, Sharon (Darren) Lowery of Parkersburg; a half brother, John Siers of Akron, Ohio; in-laws, Linda (Bernard) Blair, Davisville, W.Va., Marvin "Butch" (Marcia) Murphy, Weston, W.Va., Kay (Ron) Swisher, Laurens, S.C., Marie (Clarke) Wilson, Munday, W.Va., Bobbi (Glenn) McEndree, Spencer, W.Va., and Leslie "Jeannie" (Mike) Gwinn, Givens, W.Va.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his mother, Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Lester and Helen Murphy; and two brothers-in-law, Jack Shock and Freddie Ball Jr.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg, with the Rev. Carroll McCauley officiating. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. |
