A late model S-10 Chevy truck left Rt. 16 one mile north of
Grantsville about 6 a.m.
Monday, landing deep in the woods. Doug Rush, about 23, of Leading
Creek was not
seriously injured. "The vehicle traveled through the field and brush
the length of a
football field," according to Sheriff Allen Parsons.
Rush reportedly climbed from the truck and walked down Town Hill to
Grantsville to
summon help. A family member said he tried to stop several cars, but
they would not
stop.
Calhoun EMS responded to the accident with Sheriff Allen Parsons.
