| Jesse A. Baumgartner, 84, of Parkersburg WV passed away Sept 11, 2014.
He was born in Wood County the son of the late John and Margrete (Klein) Baumgartner.
He was a 1949 graduate of Parkersburg High School; and was a member of the Humane Society of the United States. He worked for several years at the American Viscoe Co, and retired form AmPak of Parkersbrug WV.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and football.
He is survived by his sons, Jesse (Butch) Baumgartner and wife Kathy of Parkesburg, and Jeff Baumgartner and wife Becky of Warsaw IN; daughter Chrissy Hendershot of Parkersbrug; 6 grandchildren, Andrea and Kasey Baumgartner, Sara Gilbert (Matt), Kati Rice (Ben), Emily Baumgartner, Megan Lockhart (Marcus Baker); 6 great grandchildren, Lexi, Tony and Peyton Gilbert, Becksley Rice, Whitley Cloninger and Sidney Cloninger; a special cousin, Nema and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, his wife of 58 years, Margie M. Baumgartner; brother and sister, William and Dolly.
Services will be Monday September 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with Rev. Lee Willliams officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service on Monday.
Interment will be at New Home Cemetery (Mayberry) Palestine WV.
