Otmer Clark Starcher, 76, of Homerville, OH passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at Elmwood At The Springs in Green Springs, Ohio.
He was born in Ivydale, West Virginia on October 29, 1937 to Francis Otmer and Evelyn (Brown) Starcher and had resided in the Homerville area for 42 years.
He was a graduate of Clay High School in Clay, West Virginia and had attended Aviation Jet Mechanic School. He had worked for General Motors as a tow motor operator and was a member of the NRA. Mr. Starcher was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy (nee Shilling) to whom he was married for 54 years; daughters, Cindy (Randy) Homan, Evelyn Starcher; sons, Harold (Tammi) Starcher, Daniel (Jodi) Starcher; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; sisters, Nina, Caren, Cathy and Leona.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, David.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 1 P.M. at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, Ohio, Pastor Ernie Saunders will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Homerville. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 30, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
