State Police arrested a man in Braxton County they said stabbed his girlfriend because she threw a box of his money and methamphetamine into the woods.
John Hull, 44, of Philippi is charged with malicious wounding on Millroy Road in Ireland, according to a criminal complaint filed in Braxton County Magistrate Court.
Police said he also punched the woman and choked her.
When officers found the box near a church, troopers said, it had more than a thousand dollars in it, along with three bags of meth.
Hull is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $200,000.
