| CHARLESTON MURDER, INFORMANT KILLEDMarlon Dixon was
arrested after a manhunt Thursday afternoon, is now accused of killing Branda Basham.
According to the criminal complaint, Basham, who was 22-years-old, was working as a confidential informant for multiple law enforcement agencies and had made a few drug buys from Dixon.
Basham's body was discovered over the weekend near railroad tracks.
Dixon told police he finally surrendered because the pressure got to him, that police had been just seconds behind him a few times in their search for him.
Dixon was denied bond as he was arraigned Thursday night.
In addition to the charge of murder, Dixon is facing a domestic violence charge and a charge of distributing heroin.
Police released autopsy information that shows Basham was shot three times.
