A small woods fire on Sand Ridge was quickly brought under control by the
Arnoldsburg VFD yesterday afternoon. Fire Chief Bill Jones said the fire likely started
from an electric line.
Winds were gusting at 35 miles an hour when the fire started across the road from
the Sand Ridge Church.
