Richard Allen Schwender, 64, formerly of Spencer, West Virginia passed away in Akron, Ohio after a long illness.
Richard is survived by his brothers, William Burgess of Ripley, West Virginia, Roger Schwender of Akron, Johnny Schwender of Spencer, and Bruce Schwender of Elkview, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oris and Erma Schwender of Spencer; brother, Donald of Fairfield, Connecticut, and his sister, Doris Schwender Sayers of West Palm Beach, Florida.
Per his request, there will be a private graveside service at the Egypt Chapel Cemetery at a later date at the discretion of his family.
