Ruby Lea Hardman, 72, of Pilot Mountain, NC, formerly of Grantsville WV, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ July 2, 2014 at Forsythe Medical Center in Winston Salem NC.
She was born May 3, 1942, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Walter and Olive Stemple Husk. She was a Christian by faith, a loving mother and homemaker. Ruby was a member of the Message of the Hour Fellowship Church in Westfield NC.
She is survived by her son Arland "Pete" (Stacey) Hardman of Pilot Mountain; three sisters, Sylvia West, Charlene Jett and Carolyn Husk, all of Ohio; three brothers, Orville Husk, Melvin Husk and Marvin Husk, all of Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Buddy Hardman; a son Richard Hardman; and a daughter Sandra Harris.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with Arland Hardman officiating. Burial will follow in the Turner Cemetery at Lockney. Friends may call from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
