A motorcyclist and passenger were injured Fourth of July afternoon, crashing on Rt. 16 (Chloe) near the Walker Rd. intersection.
The victims were reportedly from out of the area, the extent of their injuries is unknown.
Both were life-flighted to a medical center by choppers from HealthNet and AirEvac from the Upper West Fork Park.
The accident happened on a high-risk area of Rt. 16 with sharp curves. Sources at the scene indicated the cyclist likely encountered gravel on the highway.
Two ambulances from Minnie Hamilton EMS responded with the Upper West Fork VFD at 2:30 p.m.
This was the fourth accident locally within days involving a motorcycle and UTVs. |
