Howard Blaine Frymier, 75, of 413 Norris Street, Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life at 9:35 a.m., June 14, 2014 at the Crestview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Jane Lew, West Virginia, following an extended illness.
Born January 12, 1939 in Glenville, son of the late John Wesley and Marguerite Engle Frymier.
Howard graduated from Glenville High School and volunteered for the United States Air Force where he served a four-year term. He then returned home and received his BA Teaching Degree from Glenville State College. He taught in Baltimore County, Maryland, before moving to Carroll County, Maryland, where he retired after 30 years of service.
On September 29, 1963 he was united in marriage to Jacqueline Kay Miller. From this union two children were born, Alan Clark of Georgia and Kimberly Kay of Westminster, Maryland. Howard was a proud grandparent to 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Howard is also survived by 2 brothers, Francis Frymier and wife Betty of Richmond, Virginia, and Clarence Frymier and wife Barbara of Tuson, Arizona, and 1 sister, Rita Huff and husband Denzil of Glenville, West Virginia.
Along with his parents, Howard was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Willard and Patrick Frymier.
Howard request for cremation has been honored and a "Celebration of Life" will be held in Westminster, Maryland, at Maggie's on 310 East Green Street, Thursday, June 26, 2014, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Howard is a member of the Camden Flats Baptist Church where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., July 12 2014 with Pastor Dwight Goff officiating. Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday morning at the Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Howard Frymier Scholarship Fund at Westminster High School, 1225 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157.
