Family and neighbors came out to honor Arnoldsburg woman
Longtime Arnoldsburg resident Margie Williams Evans was honored on her 90th birthday with a surprise party held at the Arnoldsburg Community Building Sunday.
Family, friends and neighbors turned out to Evans, a longtime community volunteer, having long helped with the WV Molasses Festival and was a former chairperson for the Calhoun Democrat Executive Committee.
Her husband Paul passed in 2013 at age 93.
She has two daughters, Sherry Fowler of Parkersburg and Sharman Matthew of Arnoldsburg and a son, Timothy Evans. |
