| BLUEFIELD STABBING - State Troopers said Sunday an arrest has been made after an altercation between three people in Montcalm led to a stabbing Saturday.
The victim is in critical condition.
The identities of the people involved have not yet been released.

911 dispatchers said they received a call around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday from a man saying his step-son had been stabbed in the lung, the alleged aggressor taking off on foot.
The victim was transported to the Bluefield Area Medical Center.
MAN STABBED - A man is recovering after he was stabbed by a woman outside of a Huntington restaurant, Jimmy Johns.
Dispatchers say a woman called 911 around 3:00 a.m. Sunday and said another woman stabbed her boyfriend.
Dispatchers say the victim was taken to the hospital with wounds to his arm and leg.
An arrest is yet to be made.

MAN ON TRIAL SHOOTS SELF - A Berkeley County man on trial for fleeing police shot himself forcing the judge to declare a mistrial.
Tracy Orr, 51, of Hedgesville, was found at his home Thursday morning with a bullet wound to the head.
Berkeley County Prosecutor Pamela Games-Neely said
"The state's case was almost complete and we got word right before they were to begin the trial again that he had shot himself with a small caliber handgun."
Orr is also facing separate charges of arson and fraud in an indictment returned on Tuesday.
PRESTON SHOOTING - A Preston County man at Aurora murdered his wife and then killed himself.
The Preston County Sheriff's Department responded to a shots fired complaint early Saturday morning in the Aurora community.
According to a news release, the incident happened around 4:30 a.m.
When officers arrived at the they found that Paul Edward Sisler, 52, had shot and killed his ex-wife, Reda Jane Sisler, 46, with a pistol.
After shooting her, Sisler turned the gun on himself.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene. |
