Ronald Gilbert Hakes 76, of Grantsville, WV left this world to be with Jesus on May 22, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his father Golden Harold Hakes; his mother Clara Mae Blake Hakes; brother James Lee and daughter Penny Hakes.
He is survived by his wife Frances Claudette; son James; daughters Adreana Bohannon and Tina Hakes; sister Julia McIntosh. 13 Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren as well as several other family members.
He worked and retired from Chrysler Corp. in Dayton, OH of 30 years. He attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
At his request his remains were cremated. Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville is in charge of arrangements.
