Dora Mae Caldwell Stull, 71, of Grantsville, and formerly of Erie Community, Harrison County. passed away Tuesday evening, May 27, 2014, in the United Hospital Center.
She was born in Spelter on September 14, 1942, a daughter of the late Julius and Elenora Fleming Caldwell.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Stull, whom she married in 1966.
Also surviving are two children, Darlene Akers and her husband Randy, Shinnston, and Dr. David Stull and his wife Shana, Monroe, GA; four grandchildren, Johnna Akers, David Akers, Levi Stull and Travis Stull; two sisters, Eilene Harris and Carolyn Holbert and her husband Jim, all of Erie; her extended Stull family; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Ann Plum and Frances Haddox and her husband Robert; two brothers, Johnny Lynn Caldwell and Robert Caldwell; and a brother-in-law, Russell Harris.
Dora attended Victory High School and had worked at Stone & Thomas and Nalco Chemical Plant. She had attended Victory Baptist Church in Grantsville. She enjoyed shopping, getting her hair and nails done, making scarves and arts and crafts. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
Interment was in Shinnston Masonic Cemetery. |
