| Five people will be interviewed to be the next director of the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department.
Dick Wittberg resigned that post in March and a search committee has been looking for his successor.
The MOVHD covers Calhoun County.
The department's acting director says 22 people applied for the post.
Five finalists are to be interviewed next Thursday, June 5.
"That search committee has been responsible for assuring that we advertise the position and receive resumes," says Acting Director Sandra Ellenwood, "and that we review those resumes, and select the applicants that will be interviewed."
The health department is also looking for a new finance director.
