... and over, Slider clears the pole
The Calhoun High School Track Team ended the 2014 season in Charleston at the State Track Meet on May 24th.
Ryan Slider and Shay Parrish both graduated seniors of Calhoun High School Class of 2014, represented the team and Calhoun County.
Slider (left) made school history by winning the high jump with a height of 6 feet 4 inches. He is the first State Champion in track and field from Calhoun. He also won Regional champ, also a first for the school.

Shay Parrish competed in the 300 meter hurdles, placing 8th with a time of 43.62. Parrish holds the school record in the 300 and 110 hurdles. |
