UPDATE 10/08 - A Gilmer County man, who faced a variety of sexual abuse and incest charges in Lewis County, has been sentenced, according to the Lewis County Prosecutor's Office.
John Puffenbarger, 49, was sentenced to 10-30 years in prison, which will run concurrently with a 10-30 year sentence he received on similar charges in Gilmer County.
Puffenbarger pleaded guilty to two counts of incest, which each carry a five to 15 year sentence.
Puffenbarger previously admitted to having sex with a female relative who is under the age of 12, according to court documents.
Puffenbarger's son, Christopher Puffenbarger, is also serving time in a youth correctional facility after pleading guilty to having sexual intercourse with the same minor.
UPDATE 5/16 - A Gilmer County man is expected to plea to criminal charges in Lewis County.
John Puffenbarger faces charges of incest and sexual assault in Lewis County after prosecutors said he admitted to having sex with a relative younger than 12, multiple times.
Puffenbarger will already serve 10 to 30 years on similar charges out of Gilmer County. His attorney said he will file a Kennedy plea and serve a concurrent sentence in Lewis County.

ORIGINAL STORY - Two men facing sex charges in Gilmer County have entered pleas in front of Judge Alan D. Moatz on February 12.
John Puffenbarger, 47, was charged with three counts of first degree sexual abuse, three counts of sexual abuse by parent, guardian, or person in a position of trust, and three counts of incest.
Christopher Lynn Puffenbarger, 19, was charged with two counts of first degree sexual assault and two counts of incest.
Both men were accused of sexually abusing a girl younger than 12 in May, 2014.
John Puffenbarger was initially arrested and his son was arrested on similar charges a few weeks after.
John Puffenbarger has pleaded no contest to incest charges, while his son Christopher Puffenbarger has pleaded guilty to sexual intercourse.
The Puffenbargers will be sentenced April 13.
The elder Puffenbarger's wife, Holly Puffenbarger, was charged with child neglect.
