| Howard F. Travis, 79, of Elizabeth WV passed away Friday May 16, 2014 at Camden Clark Memorial Campus, of Parkersburg WV.
He was born in Liverpool WV the son of the late Harvey and Clara Scyoc Travis.
He was retired from the United State Air Force after 22 years of service and worked with his sons at Travis Landscaping for several years in Memphis TN. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Karman Norris and Jean Schoonover both of Newbury Park CA; 1 son Greg (Lindy) Travis of Kingston GA;
10 grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both his parents; his first wife Lorene Travis in 1992; his second wife Dora Travis in 2008; his third wife Helen Travis in 2012; and 1 son Mike Travis.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday May 22, 2014 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with Rev. Lee Williams officiating, visitation will be Wed. May 21, 2014 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home Military Burial Rites will be at Saunders Cemetery of Calhoun County, WV.
