The NWS has issued a Flood Watch in effect from 2 am EDT Thursday through Friday morning.
A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for seven West Virginia counties until 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Meteorologists placed Kanawha, Putnam, Lincoln, Cabell, Wayne, Jackson and Mason counties under the watch along with several counties in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. |
