| Kathryn Pauline Mumbauer, age 88, of Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life at 1:45 p.m., May 7, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born September 16, 1925 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late George and Margaret Hall Host.
Kathryn first retired from Genuardi Market in Quakerstown PA with 17 years of service as cashier and then again she retired after 13 years of service from Glenville Foodland. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother.
There are two daughters and two sons surviving, Marsha Arden (Louis) of Glenville, Ann Wellings (Thomas) of Normantown WV; Wayne Mumbauer (Ronda) of Wilbur WV and William Mumbauer (Barbara) of West Union WV. She is survived by 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by two brothers, Bruce Host of Bethlehem PA and Gary Host along with several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Mumbauer; brothers, George Host and Richard Host; sisters, June Baird and Judy Benner.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Glenville with Pastors Bill Lytle and Bryan Bukovesky officiating.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Glenville Cancer Fund or to Hospice of Burnsville.
