A Clay County man died Monday night from a gunshot wound to the chest, according
to the West Virginia State Police. Police have changed their mind about the gunshot
being self-inflicted. They are now looking at the case as a possible homicide.
Dead is Chad A. Salisbury, 31, of Widen. He was pronounced dead at Summersville
Memorial Hospital.
The shooting took place at the Salisbury residence, according to authorities.
No one has been charged, but Trooper C. J. Ellyson said several people have been
interviewed.
