| Patricia Sue Chadwell age 76 of Steer Run Road, Normantown, West Virginia, departed this life Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, following an extended illness.
Born April 11, 1938 in Kanawha Co. West Virginia, daughter of the late Denver and Syrena Starks Bess.
Patricia was a homemaker and Christian by faith.
In 1967 she was united in marriage to Donald Gene Chadwell, who preceded her in death on November 27, 2012.
She is survived by three children, Brenadetta (Daniel) Figueroa of Cleveland OH, Jose (Hedda) Roldan of Cleveland, and Donald Chadwell II of Birmingham AL; two brothers, Bernard (Carolyn) Bess of Cleveland and Alton (Ginger) Bess of Fayetteville NC; two sisters, Madge (Wavell) Donnally of Eldridge MD and Bonnie (Donald) Honaker of Mt. Gilead OH; 5 grandchildren, Monique Lopez-Saavedra, Antonio and Aaron Roldan, Dacota and Cheyanne Chadwell; and 5 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Marvin Bess, Errol Bess and Gerald Bess; and one grandchild Bruce Lopez.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc; 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV, 26351 at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Boggs Cemetery in Orton WV (Normantown Community). Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Mortuary.
