WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Road Rage Bullets Through Two Houses, Charleston Bouncer Shot 12 Times

(04/28/2014)
BOUNCER SHOT - Charleston police say George Sawyer and Tasheem Collins got into an argument inside a Charleston bar, and were kicked out.

Sawyer and Collins then came back to the area with a gun and shot well-known bouncer Richard "Jimmy" Beasley, while he was walking two women to their car, police say.

Tasheem Collins is now in custody after being arrested at a home in Dunbar.

Bullets hit Beasley 12 times in the head and upper body and he was taken to the hospital, reportedly in critical condition, but is reportedly recovering.

Police say Sawyer jumped into the river, but officers were able to catch him.

Police are still looking for Collins.

PARKERSBURG MAN KILLED WHILE ATTEMPTING HEIST - A Parkersburg man was shot to death in Columbus Friday night, allegedly as he was trying to rob the man who shot him.

Kenneth Owens, 46, told authorities that Larry N. Mausali, 24, of Parkersburg, tried to force him to drive to an ATM and withdraw cash.

While Owens was driving to the ATM, he took out his own handgun and shot Mausali, who died later in a Columbus hospital. ROAD RAGE BULLETS HIT HOUSES - (WSAZ-3) Bullets went through two houses a little before noon Friday in a shooting one neighbor says appears to be over road rage.

Ashley Vickers says if her walk through her kitchen had been timed just slightly differently, she could've been killed.

The bullet came through her kitchen window at an even level with her head.

"I was walking to the bathroom, which is not five seconds away, and the bullet came through the house," Vickers said.

Darrin Chinn says he and a friend were blocking the alley on the 2200 block of Artisan Avenue as they were using a truck and a trailer to haul another car into his driveway, when another truck pulled up trying to get through.

"They just asked us if we'd move our (expletive deleted) car," Chinn said. "I said could you please wait, we're in the middle of something? They just started cussing at us."

Chinn says the truck went to the end of the alley. Then he heard gunshots.

"We ran to my back door to make sure we didn't get hit," Chinn said.

The bullets hit a pole and a truck, and one went through Vickers' home and into the home next door.

"It makes me nervous really quick because my kids play out here every day," Chinn said.

"I definitely want to know they will not be back in my neighborhood to shoot more bullets at my house, especially if my kids are home," Vickers said.
