| Tressie Mae Anderson Jarvis, 91, of Bethany OK, formerly of Spencer WV, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday April 22, 2014.
She was born on August 20, 1920 at Nicut, WV, the daughter of James and Victoria Griffin Anderson. She was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Bethany OK.
Tressie is survived by a daughter, Dolores Roberts Lowder of Bethany OK and a son Rex Jarvis, Jr. and his wife Pat of Columbia Station OH; a sister Marilee Riedlinger of Palm Harbor, FL; a brother, Kermit Anderson and his wife Betty of Newton, WV. She had five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren that she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rex Jarvis; brothers Ray, Chester, James Loren and Willis; one sister, Beulah Ray Obrien.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 27, 2014, 3:00pm at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Burial will follow in the Clover Cemetery, Rte 36, Spencer. Friends may call from 1:00-3:00pm prior to the services. |
