MAN FIRES GUN AT PEOPLE - A St. Albans man faces charges after police said he fired a gun at two people.

Kellie Hicks is charged with three counts of wanton endangerment.

Police say the incident started on Saturday when Hicks got into an argument with another man inside the home. Deputies said Hicks then grabbed a gun, was standing next to his wife and fired a shot down a hallway near where two people were standing.

No one was injured, and the bullet was lodged in the wall.

Hicks is in the South Central Regional.

ELK RIVER ROBBERY - The 7-Eleven ON Elk River Road was robbed, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office. A white male wearing blue pants and a blue hoodie entered the store with a garment covering his face. He pulled out a box-cutter and demanded money.

The clerk complied and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

STAR CITY BANK ROBBED AGAIN - An armed robbery was reported at a Star City, Monongalia County bank Tuesday morning.

The United Bank on University Avenue was robbed shortly before 9:30 a.m.

Star City Police Chief Vic Propst said it is not believed that Tuesday's robber is the same person involved in a March 26 robbery.

The robber was in and out of the bank in 43 seconds.

In March, Star City police released surveillance photos showing a man in a skeleton mask with a hunting knife who jumped on top of the teller counter to threaten employees.
