State Police have charged three individuals with loitering inside Calhoun Middle-High School, with possible other action taken with a fourth person under the age of 18.
According to the misdemeanor criminal complaint the incident happened on Saturday, March 29, saying four individuals entered the school building without administrative permission, three students and one person a non-student.
The loitering complaint was filed against Mason I. Sheldon, 18, of Grantsville, Ryan Joseph Slider, 18, of Mt. Zion, and Raymond C. Davis, 20, of Big Springs.
Asst. Principal Curtis Garretson, says that four individuals entered the school building without any type of administrative permission, all identified by the school's surveillance system and "were observed moving cameras around, out of place."
Sgt. Okey Starsick of the Grantsville Detachment brought the charges.
The loitering charges calls for fines of not more than $100 or imprisonment in the county jail of not more than one year, or both.
Unconfirmed reports last week said students and former students had broken into Calhoun Middle-High School and Arnoldsburg Elementary School.
Acting Calhoun Superintendent of Schools Dan Metz declined to confirm the incidents, saying "Calhoun County Schools does not wish to make a statement concerning this story."
Some of the students who allegedly broke into the schools are likely among nine being considered for expulsion Wednesday during a special meeting of the Calhoun Board of Education.
