UPDATE - Deana Nelson, 28, was later identified as the wife of Andrew Drew Jones and was previously living at Cabot Station.

ORIGINAL STORY - Charges have yet to be brought in what has been reported as "massive injuries" received by a Calhoun woman for a situation that appears to have been linked to a dispute.

A Deana Nelson, 28, was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System Thursday suffering from what was described as multiple and severe traumatic injuries.

Family sources reported that the woman suffered injuries to most of her body.

A status on her condition is not available, although statements regarding her injuries are on Facebook with allegations about individuals who caused her injuries.

Nelson, who had reportedly been living at Cabot Station, was then life-flighted to Women and Children's Hospital in Charleston.

Nelson was brought by her significant other, Andrew (Drew) Jones, 24, to Minnie Hamilton Health System in Grantsville.

Chief Deputy J. D. Smith responded to the hospital about 9:30 Thursday morning to investigate the incident.

"We're looking at all possibilities in the matter," said Smith, who is the lead investigator, saying that Andrew Drew Jones has been questioned regarding the incident.
