Chapel Baptist Church at Nobe
A noticeable location during a drive through Nobe is the Chapel Hill Baptist Church,
first erected in 1880 and re-built in 1965.
Surrounding the beautiful brick church are, the former one room school which had
been converted into a community building, grassy fields and the cemeteries,
including the Nobe Cemetery.
The Nobe Cemetery is one of the county's must notable places for interment,
containing an assortment of large monuments remembering the communities
pioneers.
Leaman Wilson and his wife Mary rest in a crypt near the front of the church, both
died about 1980
