BROTHERS SQUABBLE - A Nitro faces criminal charges after police say he stabbed his brother during a fight.
Robert Brian Null, 55, of Nitro was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.
According to the criminal complaint, when police arrived on scene the victim, George Anthony Null was standing in the front yard with a large amount of blood coming from his stomach and chest area.
George told police his brother, Robert was drunk and stabbed him, according to the complaint. The man admitted to the stabbing.
The accused told police he had been physically assaulted on numerous occasions and he stabbed his brother in self defense.
George Null was listed in satisfactory condition at CAMC General.
Robert Null remains in jail on a $10,000 bond.
MORGANTOWN ROBBERY - State Police responded to an armed robbery Wednesday night at the Circle K in Morgantown.
Police said two men entered the gas station.
One stood at the front desk, while the other went back into the kitchen to find an employee.
One man then held the employee by knife point forcing her to the front of the store to retrieve money from the register. No one was hurt and an unknown amount of money was stolen.
