Janet Lou Starcher Casto, 78, of Ripley WV passed away March 15, 2014, at her home following a long illness.
She was born June 4, 1935 at Jackson County, the daughter of the late Darrell and Addie Painter Starcher. She was a Baptist by faith and was a caregiver to many folks who needed help. Janet loved her family and loved to crochet. She always loved when people stopped to visit and being outdoors.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Casto and brothers, Denzel, Troy, Ike, Junior and Gary Dorsel Starcher.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Reynolds and her husband, Rod of Ripley; sons David Wright and his wife, Vickie of London, Ohio and Tony Barnett and his wife, Jenny of Cottageville; brothers, Gilbert (Shirley) Starcher of Given, Danny (Phyllis) Starcher of Poca, Chuck (Neida) Starcher of Tennessee and Johnny (Barb) Starcher of Ravenswood; sisters, JeanMiller Casto of Cottageville, Sue (Dave) Greenhill of Zanesville, Ohio and Nancy (Marvin) Parker of Columbus; grandchildren, Heather Reynolds, Terah (Michael) Waybright, Rodney (Chasity) Reynolds, Brandon Reynolds, Jay (Jessica)Wright, Mason Barnett, Madison Barnett, Cori Casto and Erin Casto; great grandchildren, Hillary Hunter, Xavier Swisher, Hunter Reynolds, Emma Reynolds, Josh Reynolds, Christopher Waybright, Carter Waybright and Katelyn Waybright.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 18 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Kevin Starcher officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Putnam County. Friends may call two hours prior at the funeral home.
